MSU College of Human Medicine Gala creative wins 3 ADDY Awards

College's agency Extra Credit Projects shines with 18 ADDYs and Best of Show

For the second consecutive year, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine was honored by the advertising community with two gold Addy Awards and one silver Addy Award at the Advertising Federation of West Michigan’s 2012 Addy® Awards held at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, Thursday night.

This year, the college was recognized for its Gala marketing and event materials, created by Grand Rapids-based Extra Credit Projects. In all, Extra Credit Projects collected 18 Addy® Awards – again the most in the competition – including a judge’s choice award and the BEST OF SHOW.

“We are very proud of the recognition that Rob and the team at Extra Credit Projectsreceived last night for their outstanding creative work,” said Marsha D. Rappley, M.D., dean, College of Human Medicine. "ECP has done a remarkable job in creating a unique identity for our medical school while supporting our university branding."

The College of Human Medicine’s awards includes:

Gala event materials – Gold ADDY® Award
Gala Poster – Gold ADDY® Award
Gala Kiosk Ad – Silver ADDY® Award

Extra Credit Projects was also notified this week that its entry for the Gala Kiosk has won an international OBIE Award to be presented in May.
