Radiology
The Department of Radiology was founded in 1975 as a jointly administered academic unit of both the College of Human Medicine and the College of Osteopathic Medicine. The department is actively engaged in teaching, research, clinical care and community outreach. Additionally, the department is a leading provider of high-quality imaging services to both metropolitan Lansing and out-of-state areas.
The department has achieved wide recognition for having outstanding faculty and staff, and for its continuous acquisition and updating of state-of-the-art imaging technology and facilities that enhance patient care and contribute to imaging research. Fully integrated within the broader university, the department promotes and engages in collaborative research with the biosciences and other campus units.

Next-Generation Imaging Added to MSU Radiology Powerhouse
The MSU Radiology Center has launched new science for the new century with next-generation imaging technology for the early detection and treatment planning of cancer, heart disease, and other conditions. The center is administered jointly by the MSU Colleges of Human and Osteopathic Medicine through the Department of Radiology.
